2020 handed us all some surprises. For me, that included making Tennessee my home.

After months of being locked down in my small Brooklyn apartment during Covid, I moved into a Chattanooga hotel to run a comedy show out of their lobby. None of this was part of the original plan, but if the pandemic taught me anything, it’s plans shmans.

I’m grateful Chattanooga gave me a spot to work on the craft while New York City was on pause.

Became a Comedian in Residence

Drove down to Tennesee with another New York comic to become “Comedians in Residence” at a creative agency in Chattanooga.

Helped Some Folks With Quarantime

To maintain a sense of schedule (and purpose) during lockdown, I made whatever nonsense I learned during my 25-year creative career available to strangers in 15/30 minute sessions. I wound up talking with people all over the world.

Reissued "Captured" as Softcover for Charity

As civil unrest broke out amidst a pandemic, we directed all profit from this reissued book to the Brooklyn Bail Fund, a group that helped free arrested BLM protestors from high COVID risk holding cells.

Did a "Remote Portrait"

Was lucky enough to be asked to participate in photographer Rick Wenner’s “Remote Portraits” series, where he constructs and directs portraits via FaceTime during quarantine.

Collaborated on some COVID Cartoons

Two very talented cartoonists brought some jokes of mine to life.

Launched AirVnV: The World's First Ventilator-Sharing App

During the COVID-19 crisis, many Americans were faced with having to share a ventilator. For a small fee, AirVnV offered the comfort of choosing a breathing partner based on your criteria. Spoiler alert: it was all for a good cause.
