The MTA’s “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign featured testimonials from New Yorkers who alerted agents to suspicious activity. Since it’s just as important to stay vigilant about what’s going on behind the scenes, I swapped the ads out with “improved” versions. The five tweaked ads were installed as a set, taking up one side of train cars, each encouraging viewers to make contact with their elected representatives.

INSTALLATION

Six months after installation, someone’s tweet about finding these on the subway was shared over 30,000 times, leading to a New York Post story on how the ads were still up.
